Never spend 4 hours watching your favourite anime before going to bed. You end up dreaming about it and images of the characters doesn't leave your head until you're fully awake. And even then you are filled with the longing to continue watching it till the season is over, and then the next, and then the next .... It's amazing thought how I'm still so enthralled while watching Digimon. The magic never ceases to end.

This time tomorrow I'm going to be nearing the city of Philadelphia. I hope and pray the 8 hour flight will be comfortable, safe and entertaining ..as well as the following 5 hour wait and 1.5 houred 2nd flight to Cleveland. Flying alone can be exciting if you bump into the right random strangers during the journey, like a real life cowboy maybe? Or an American lifeguard? Or maybe Leonardo DiCaprio
American currency is quite the opposite to Scottish. Here you have brightly coloured notes in various shapes and sizes, that makes you hesitate to spend them (ahh I miss you purple £20); wheares the Americans have stuck to being quite dull in their colour choices. And the fact that all their notes are the same size and shape (being shorter and wider), i'm guessing it's going to take longer to pay since you can't distinguish between the different notes in your purse/wallet, therefore having to pull out the whole wad of cash in your purse/wallet, therefore increasing the chances of being mugged. Yikes!

Good things never leave for long ....right? Well I personally don't have such a positive outlook on life all the time, but hey I needed a good line to enter with. It has been more than a year after all since I last took to the blogging stage. The last time I was on the podium of virtual creative(?) writing, it was the day of my A2 psychology exam. WOW! The (rare) beings that were kind enough to enter my virtual home back in the days were certainly deprived of the steady flow of information on my latest adventures and what not. I'm sure they didn't miss out on a whole lot of things except maybe the fact that I got into med school; left home; left the home country; left my old friends, started up a new life in the West End of Glasgow; met new people and made new friends; bought my first stethescope; went back to visit my ex-home town more times than I should have; tackled my first rollercoasters (ever!); went fully-clothed dipping; and passed my way into 2nd year medicine with the ability to distinguish between atherosclerosis and arteriosclerosis.

Looking back on my blogs, I can't help but cringe at the amateur writing skills I possessed. I won't deny the fact though that a year of studying nothing but a science has certainly left a growing hole in my brain where my creativity used to reside. If nothing else, the return to my blog will hopefully restore the hole to what it used to be ..an oasis of floating words, ideas, thoughts and opinions that would be strung along to produce a piece of something that the readers would think was anything ...but rubbish.
